A new website to support holistic GI care and connect with diverse audiences
The journey began with a visual identity refresh, a critical first step in laying the foundation for the website overhaul. Oshi Health’s new look needed to walk a fine line: the refreshed visual identity had to feel cohesive with their existing collateral while addressing the website’s need for a thorough visual cleanup. We started by immersing ourselves in Oshi Health’s brand—their tone, unique value propositions, and the broader competitive landscape. Through iterative feedback sessions, we honed in on a final direction that embodied their forward-thinking ethos while maintaining approachability and trust.
Rethinking the site’s information architecture (IA) and user experience (UX) was a top priority. Oshi Health’s website needed to serve two primary audiences: individual consumers seeking care and B2B clients, such as employers and health plans, exploring partnership opportunities. We crafted a logical site structure and intuitive user flows to ensure both groups could easily navigate the site and find the information they needed. These efforts not only improved accessibility but also strengthened the overall user experience.
With the groundwork in place, we turned our attention to the website’s design system. Over the course of four weeks, we meticulously cleaned up 30 existing modules and designed 20 new ones, creating a cohesive visual language that could be applied across the site. Our modular design approach empowered Oshi Health’s team to build new pages and templates quickly and efficiently, ensuring the site could scale as their needs evolved. By leveraging a system of reusable components, we enabled flexibility without sacrificing consistency.
Throughout the engagement, we partnered closely with Oshi Health’s editorial team to build a robust resource library, ensuring their medically reviewed content was not only visually engaging but also positioned to rank well in search engines. By incorporating schema markup and enhancing the CMS with robust capabilities, we helped the team create and manage content that is both informative and discoverable. This collaboration resulted in a resource library that effectively showcases Oshi Health’s expertise and supports their mission to educate and empower users.
During the WordPress development phase, our focus shifted to translating the designs into a fully functional website. Our developers built and implemented new templates and modules, ensuring that each element was optimized for performance and responsiveness. As with every Simpatico WordPress engagement, a key focus was simplifying the content management system (CMS). By optimizing workflows and centralizing key data, we made it easier for Oshi Health’s internal team to update and manage content, keeping the website dynamic and responsive to their evolving needs.
We also developed a smart CMS infrastructure to support partner microsites. This innovation allowed Oshi Health’s team to pull data from centralized locations and create partner-specific microsites in minutes, streamlining their workflow and enabling rapid deployment. Throughout this phase, we worked hand-in-hand with Oshi Health’s team, fine-tuning content and ensuring every detail was addressed.
The new Oshi Health website is dynamic, user-friendly, and designed to scale with their evolving needs. From a streamlined CMS that simplifies content updates to a modular design system that enables rapid page creation, the site makes life easier for the Oshi team.
