A fin tech marketing website for the New York-based provider of APIs for financial services search, acquisition, and monetization

We began working with Even in 2016 when they approached us to redesign their marketing site. We built and launched the new B2C website working closely with their in-house design team. When their business pivoted a year later and they were looking to create a new site to articulate their new offering, they came back to Studio Simpatico.

The Challenge

The technology team at Even Financial approached us with the goal of wanting to improve the design and overall polish of their marketing website. Their company goals had evolved since their last site redesign, and they wanted to ensure their messaging clearly articulated their current offerings. They were looking to optimize their lead generation flow for their two primary target audiences: partners and financial services providers.

Embracing the “network connector” visual metaphor

As outlined in their marketing materials: “For partners, Even grows revenue by connecting consumers to the right financial products in real time. For financial service providers, Even provides infrastructure for omni-channel acquisition.” From the beginning, we were interested in the idea of creating a visual metaphor for Even as a “connector of networks,” fostering connections and growth. In line with this theme, the site features subtle parallax “network” visuals under the content.

Interactive elements and polished microinteractions

In the kickoff, Team Even communicated that subtle animations and visual polish were especially important to them. To achieve this, we added subtle CSS animations so elements fade and animate in as the user scrolls down the page.

A content strategy that speaks directly to the target audiences

To effectively message their two distinct target audiences, we designed and developed individual landing pages outlining the product features most relevant for each user type. Each landing page drives the potential customer to a form signup flow which integrates into HubSpot, Even’s inbound marketing software solution.

And as always: a fully integrated, easy to update CMS

We built a WordPress theme with custom coded page templates. The intuitively organized back-end allows the Even Financial team to update all copy and images (and add new blog posts) easily and efficiently.
