Brennan Real Estate Minisites
We worked with New York City based design studio Level Design Group to build a custom theme for their client, Brennan Real Estate.
Level Design came to us with an exciting project for their client, Brennan Real Estate. Brennan was looking to create many “mini sites” to advertise their individual properties. Rather than design a new website for each, the goal was to create a reusable WordPress theme that would be flexible and support different properties’ content and photography. Level also wanted the ability to customize each site so the site matched the properties’ branding: color, aesthetic, typography, etc.

A complex JavaScript slideshow design with Mapbox integration
The design team at Level created a beautiful “slideshow” style design to allow Brennan’s users to “move” through a property and neighborhood. We used RoyalSlider (along with a lot of custom written JavaScript) to allow users to navigate via arrow keys, mouse clicks, or device swipe. To allow users to see restaurants and other points of interest near the building, we integrated a custom designed MapBox into the WordPress theme.
Inside the WordPress back-end, we used Advanced Custom Fields PRO to give Brennan the ability to add as many slides as they wanted, and organize them. In addition to giving Brennan the ability to modify content, we also used Theme Options to give Level Design the ability to manipulate other attributes (the logo, typography, colors, and other CSS attributes) so each property site would have a unique look and feel.
