Though Frogslayer enjoyed fabulous rankings in search for keywords like “custom software,” the growth of the company necessitated a shift in their messaging. The company’s value proposition extends far beyond that of tactical software engineers; as a full service agency, Frogslayer partners with their clients to leverage technology to upgrade and evolve their business models.
Frogslayer’s new visual identity (and therefore, the website) features “Whyte Inktrap,” a bold, contemporary, almost caricature-like typeface released in 2019, and a relatively limited color palette starring the recognizable Frogslayer forest green, paired with orange and light green neon accents resulting in a modern, techy vibe. In the design, we incorporated the abstract glyph (a nod to the frog) in fun, unexpected ways, using it as an ornamental design element. A green wash added to photos sitewide keeps the site looking on-brand and visually consistent.
The top navigation is structured around essential questions most often asked by clients: Who, What, Why, How, and Work. The site’s narrative speaks to decision makers, outlining Frogslayer’s process, methodology, and past successes. The “Thought Leadership” section shares insightful perspectives from leadership, geared toward the same audience. Bold calls to action are included throughout, encouraging users to submit forms to get in touch (powered by Hubspot).
A second but vital goal of the site is to give prospective employees a window into the company’s positive, inclusive, supportive work environment. Featuring warm and authentic photography, the “Culture” page gives a narrative overview of the perks that the “frog family” enjoys, along with employee reviews and stellar stats highlighting their excellence. The page wraps with a strong call to action to check out current openings (powered by Recruitee).
